Lens Embedded Reflective Film (Traditional Engineering Grade)
俗称"工程级"的透镜埋入式反光膜,是玻璃珠型反光膜的最初一类产品,业内习惯称为"工程级"系列反光膜,1937年发明。
The embedded reflective film of lens, commonly known as "engineering grade", is the first kind of product of glass bead reflective film. It is customarily called "engineering grade" series reflective film in the industry. It was invented in 1937.
传统意义的工程级反光膜在20世纪80年代引进到中国,20世纪90年代,中国境内开始陆续出现了一批生产厂家,制造这种反光膜。
Traditional engineering-grade reflective film was introduced into China in the 1980s. In the 1990s, a number of manufacturers began to appear in China to manufacture this kind of reflective film.

Since the 1940s, this material has been successfully used to make traffic signs. For the first time on the highway, drivers who drive at night can find signs and reflective objects in front of their route earlier. 20世纪70年代,工业水平出现大幅度提高,筑路技术提升,车速加快,在很多地方,工程级材料已经不能满足需求。目前,在交通流量小、机动车低速行驶、没有环境干扰光源的地区,以及很多经济欠发达地区,特别是非安全提示类标志上,工程级反光膜仍然有着一定的应用。
